Venture Science Strata Fund LP
Evergreen Hybrid (Venture + Public Markets)
Venture Science Strata Fund LP is the firm's flagship evergreen vehicle, structured as a Delaware Limited Partnership and managed by Palo Alto Venture Science LLC. Strata pursues "The Decision Edge" — investing with clarity in an uncertain world by combining venture capital's asymmetric return profile with public market liquidity in a single hybrid evergreen structure. The fund's thesis is grounded in the conviction that breakthroughs in general AI, quantum computing, robotics, and longevity science will redefine industries, extend healthy human life, and open equitable access to knowledge and resources. Strata backs the visionary companies translating these deep-tech innovations into world-changing solutions across five hyper-growth sectors where AI and quantum computing enable step-function improvements: healthcare and longevity, space technology, clean energy, advanced materials, and resilient food and water systems. Capital is deployed through a stage-agnostic mandate spanning seed-stage venture investments to public market positions, including ECM and IPO allocations sourced through institutional book-building. The Investment Manager applies proprietary Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) frameworks, Bayesian inference, and portfolio optimization theory to systematically identify opportunities where probability-weighted expected value diverges from market pricing. Realized gains are reinvested into new opportunities, compounding capital inside the evergreen structure. Strata is designed to make institutional-grade deep-tech exposure accessible to qualified individual investors at a $100,000 entry point — a fraction of the $1M+ minimums typical of traditional venture — with annual redemption windows that replace 10+ year lockups, quarterly NAV reporting with portfolio detail and market outlook, and a 12-month lock-up per contribution. The fund is offered exclusively to Accredited Investors and Qualified Clients, with a $250,000 minimum for institutional investors. Over 80% of the firm's research and operations run on Helix, Venture Science's proprietary AI operating platform, which powers deal sourcing, screening, position sizing, ECM/IPO signal detection, fund administration, and investor reporting — compounding the firm's informational and decision-making edge each quarter.
